Capri Sun Drink Drops ‘All Natural’ Label

capri-sun-all-natural-1-10-0.jpgFood giant Kraft Foods is dropping the ”All Natural” label from its popular kid’s drink Capri Sun.  The company made the move amid consistent claims that the juice drink is actually ‘almost juiceless’.

So, who really didn’t know that?  I grew up loving the orange-flavored Capri Sun & even I knew as a 12-year-old that there was more high-fructose corn syrup than actual orange juice.  But still, the label is deceiving.

“You might as well be feeding your kids a Coke,” stated Marc Firestone, Kraft’s executive vice president for corporate & legal affairs.  Firestone revealed that Kraft has been working on a more natural formula for Capri Sun for the past year.  The new product is said to be going into production in the next few weeks & on grocery shelves a little after that.

So, we’ll have to wait & see if Kraft can not only give us a more natural fruit drink, but a tasty one as well.

Tell me what you think.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

I have a complaint to make about one of the Capies Sun that I brought from a shop,

Im not the type person to complain about things but thought I would let you know about this situation,

I brought a Capries Sun from a shop and it defiantly did you taste right, either their was too much sugar in it or it was too less but I certainly tasted off, I like drink it most of the time but this time when I had a sip of it, it did not taste right for some reason and I have checked that date which is over a year from it’s expiry date,

I even showed it to a friend and she too said that it looks very light in colour,

I was going to take it back to the Shop and then thought at the end of the day its not their fault and I just brought another one,

Anyway my friend has advised me to at least let you know that I was not satisfied with this and jut to make sure that other drinks are ok,

Please do write back to me and do let me know why this has happened,

Your time and help is much appreciated

    Regards,

    Shabaz Sikander

    Dear Shabaz,

I really appreciate you writing to me & I am very sorry for you negative Capri Sun experience, however, I am a writer & not anyone associated in anyway with Kraft Foods.

Here is the link you might need to let Kraft know of your consumer experience- http://www.kraftfoods.com/caprisun/.

    Thanks & best of luck.
