When you’re making your very own Dark Chocolate Covered Cherries, you have to have the best, most fresh cherries.  And when that’s done, you have to have the best cherry pitter to aid you in your chocolate endeavor.

Lehman’s Best Cherry Pitter is just that, the best cherry pitter around.  It’s easy, effective & doesn’t smush your cherry into mush.

The stainless steel punch rod on Lehman’s Cherry Pitter forces the pit through a gasket into the glass container.  Your cherries will come out with a small hole in the center & virtually undamaged.

Let’s hear from Kerry M. in Fremont, MI.  “I clocked it at 73 (seventy-three!)/minute. It is a wonderful machine! I should’ve invested in one years ago.”

Cost for virtually undamaged pitted cherries, $33.  Cost for a to-die-for Dark Chocolate Covered Cherries Recipe, priceless.  Stay tuned for the upcoming recipe.

Caroline Noordijk Basic Knives Collection

Let me start by saying that these are just designs, as of right now.  So, sit down from all that excitement.  But I’ve got my fingers (& knives) crossed that this Caroline Noordijk Basic Knives Collection design goes into production ASAP.

How handy this Basic Knife set truly is.  Utilizing the flat, empty surface of the blade, Caroline has done a face lift on the bland ole knife.  Now you have a peeler, grater, zester & measuring spoon via your favorite knife set.  Talk about speeding up the cooking process & downsizing that pesky never-ever-will-shut gadget drawer.  This knife collection is a true winner.

No word on pricing yet, as the collection is still classified as a design.  But I will keep you posted & hopefully a review will follow in the near future.

What’s that, honey?  No, I didn’t say anything about purchasing another kitchen gadget.  Of course not, silly.  I have so many as it is.

Shhh!  Don’t tell my husband about my soon-to-be-purchased (hopefully) Caroline Noordijk Basic Knives Collection set!

KitchenAid Coffee Grinder & Spice Mill

shopmingsway_1907_2358653.gifWhy have more than one grinder?  Take a peek at the KitchenAid Coffee Grinder & Spice Mill.  This baby does it all, no more separate grinders piling up in the kitchen for me.

The coffee grinder & spice mill is considered to be (by chef Ming Tsai) the world’s first & best electric coffee grinder created for in-home use.

What I like best is the 16 grinds to choose from, you get everything from an Espresso setting to a French Press setting.  How great is that?

Available in White or Cobalt Blue, $100.

Nomad Camping Travel On-the-Go Silverware Set with Lanyard

I was glancing at SlashFood today & happened upon this Camping / Travel / On-the-Go Silverware Set with Lanyard.

This $20 Nomad Travel set comes with a fork, knife, spoon & most importantly, a bottle opener.  This is a great set for summer picnics or a camping excursion.

I love this set & think it’s a fantastic buy & great gift idea, but I’m no so sure about the lanyard.  I feel that if you’re walking about with a silverware set around your neck you’re more likely to be taken for a on-the-ready homeless person or a Halloween ghoul- since they only come in black & orange.
