Hello! I love your version of the stadium pan. I did a test run using the recipe on the box and it was ok. My cake didn’t have the same well defined edges as yours, any tips for achieving that? Did you use the same recipe? Did you use royal or buttercream icing? I am trying to figure out how you made the people in the stands? Thanks so much for sharing your cake ideas!! Janet

I am interested in your response to Janet on 10/14/06 at 5:58am. She wanted to know how you acheived the beautiful results of the stadium cake; did you use icing, how did you make the people in the stands, etc.
I am baking this cake for Super Bowl and want it to turn out the best it possibly can.
Thanks so much for your help.

I would appreciate any instructions on how to decorate the cake made using the stadium pan. Also, will a 2 layer cake mix work, or should I use a special recipe? Thanks for any help that you might could give me.

I used two brownie mixes instead of the cake mix. That way you can have a yummy treat and not have the frosting mess up the design. It turned out AWESOME, everyone loved it and the kids enjoyed it afterwards. Who doesn’t like brownies! Just followed the directions on the box (doubled because of the 2 mixes). It had to cook for a long time, but if you keep an eye on it everything should be ok…. just my two cents!

I just purchased this cake pan and would like to make a cake for my son’s football team. Their colors are red, grey, and white. While looking on this website I noticed that someone out there has some wonderful ideas on achieving a perfectly detailed cake. Would you please be so kind as to share them with me also? It wouild be greatly appreciated!!!

I am also interested in any tips on achieving a nicely detailed and decorated cake. I bought this pan and my mother in law accidentally threw away the cardboard sleeve it came with so I do not have the recipe it came with or any care instructions. Is a “bundt” recipe better to use than a regular cake mix? And I am wondering how long it would take to cook!?
