
Crostini is something that could be considered as perfect quick snack for kid’s parties and even for the unexpected guests at home. Yummy Crostini when covered with melted cheese gives a divine taste but you and put in a twist to the recipe by adding tomatoes, oregano, tuna eggs etc. The cheesed crostini when cooked with Ham gives an exceptionally scrumptious dish.
Serves: 4 to 6 people
Ingredients
French bread- 12 slices (you can also use ciabatta)
Cheese- 230g (1/2 pound)
Swiss ham- 230 g (1/2 pound)
Soar cream-2 tbsp
Mayonnaise-1 tbsp
Oregano- a pinch
How to make Ham with cheese crostini
Preheat your oven on 400 degrees
Take the ham and slice it as thin as you can and then cut the thin slices into small pieces. Slice the ham into very thin slices and pieces to make a great topping.
Take a deep bowl and add the sliced and cut ham.
Grate the cheese over the ham and if you are using the cheese slice cut it in thing pieces and add it to the ham.
Add the mayonnaise and the sour cream and mix it well. Your creamy topping is now ready to stick on bread.
Take the bread slices and cover them with the topping of cheese and ham.
Cover the baking pan with a baking paper and keep the bread slices on it.
Sprinkle the oregano over the bread slices and put the pan in the preheated oven.
Roast them till they are brown and crispy. It usually takes 10-15 minutes.
Serve hot.
