After a short absence, I’m back in the saddle & ready to dish out the flavorful goods.Â Today we’ve got French crepes on the menu, with Bastille Day coming up on the 14th, I figure you want to be prepared.
Enjoy digging into this delicious French Crepe recipe perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner.Â You know my slogan:Â Just Add Chocolate!
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- Sliced strawberries
- confectioners sugar, for sprinkling
- Chocolate sauce, for enjoying
In a large mixing bowl- whisk together the flour and the eggs.
Gradually add in your milk & water, stirring to combine.
Add saltÂ & butter, beat until smooth.
Heat a lightly oiled panÂ over medium high heat. Pour 1/4 cup of batter into hot pan.
Tilt the pan with a circular motion so that the batter coats the surface evenly.
Cook the crepe for about 2 minutes, until the bottom is light brown. Loosen with a spatula, turn and cook the other side.
Place onto plate & sprinkle with confectioners sugar.Â Place sliced strawberries inside & roll up.Â Drizzle chocolate sauce over crepe & you’re ready to go.Â Serve hot.
