- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 4 tablespoons white sugar
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups buttermilk
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
In a large bowl- combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda & salt.
In a medium bowl- beat together buttermilk, whole milk, eggs & butter.Â
In a large oiled skillet- get the oil hot over medium-high heat.Â
Pour egg mixture into flour mixture & stir until well-blended.Â
Pour about 1/2 a cup of batter into griddle and brown on each side.
You are now ready to add your choice of toppings, youÂ know I never object to semi-sweet chocolate chips,Â & retire in front of Saturday morning cartoons.
