After thousands of years of fish & rice, Japan is opening up its doors to American sweets.  The country has developed a taste for the sweet treats we enjoy in this country which has provided a real opportunity to Krispy Kreme & fast-food chains.

Since first opening last December, Japan’s very first Krispy Kreme is enjoying hour-long waiting lines to just get inside the door.  Wow, folks everywhere love them some Krispy Kreme doughnuts, don’t they?

In the first three days of opening alone,  the store saw more than 10,000 customers.

“The texture was fluffy and sticky, unlike any other doughnut,” said a 22-year-old customer.

Well, let’s hope we’re not turning other countries into junk food nations.
