Jessica Simpson Learning to Cook for Sweetheart John Mayer

I couldn’t help a little celebrity cooking gossip this morning, you’ll have to forgive me. Well, the secret’s out! Actress (and I use that term loosely) Jessica Simpson is taking secret cooking lessons so that she can surprise beau John Mayer on Valentine’s Day. I guess the cat was let out of the bag on that one!

The Employee of the Month star is planning to step into the kitchen & show off her new culinary skills for Mayer on February 10, due to John touring on the actual day of Valentine’s. How sweet, I wonder what she’ll make her man…

According to a Simpson insider, Jessica has been hard at work, saying, “She’s been taking cooking classes and poring over cookbooks, trying to come up with the perfect meal. I think John will be impressed.”

And I will be too to find out that not only can Jessica Simpson read but also throw a meal together!
