Sugar Free Peeps for Easter

sugar-free-peep-3-13-07.jpg

Now, to me Peeps are the cute little chicks you get in your Easter basket that you love to look at, but would rather not eat.  But some folks absolutely love their Peeps, no matter the season.

This year, a new Peep is on the market, the Sugar Free Peep.  Sweetened with Splenda instead of real sugar, these little buddies are just dying to be a part of your Easter celebrations.  They are just too cute to eat!

You tell me, do you like Peeps?

Guilty – love Peeps! I am a candy-a-holic, really….I am actually one of those candy freaks who eats Peeps all year….as pumpkins, ghosts, Christmas trees. I even freeze them (like Charlston Chews)…but they don’t harden too much.

Chris, I don’t mind saying that’s a littl gross! Seriously, I have just never been able to get into the whole sugary marshmellow thing. If it’s not dark chocolate, it’s not worth it! :)

I hear they even make St. Patty’s Day peeps!

I realize Easter is long gone but do you have any sugar free peeps left over?
The mfg says they are good for 7 months.

I would like to know why the sugar free you only get 3 peeps and cost around $1.29 and the reg ones cost .99 and you get 9 or more in them

  11. Jesse says:

I have been a diabetic for two years and it is hard to find certain candies that taste good which are sugarfree. Candyfavorites.com has a huge selection of sugarfree candies including jelly beans which are extremely good. I actually have come to prefer those over the real ones with sugar!
Check it out if anyone is still searching for something sweet!
