We all have our favorite dishes, don’t we? There are those that we make so often that we can cook them in our sleep. Then again, I think that you will all agree that there are times when even the best dishes get old when served one time too many. That’s where inspiration and ideas come into the picture. With a little bit of inspiration, you can turn an old dish into something totally new, or you can whip up something creative that will wow everyone at the table.

And that’s what we’re here for – to sprinkle some cooking fairy dust around. While we do give you as many recipes as we can come up with, we also like sharing good finds on the Internet; and when it comes to good finds, we think that this new recipe portal is at the top of the list.

It’s called Recipe Finder and the site is a newcomer in the scene. While it may be a newcomer, Recipe Finder is definitely out to make a mark in the online foodie world. With more than a million recipes stored in its database, Recipe Finder is the largest recipe search engine you can find today. It aggregates the recipes from some of the most trusted recipe sites online and presents them in an easy-to-read and easy-to-follow format. Recipe Finder also includes the important details that home cooks like to see in recipes, such as calorie count (excellent for those who are watching their weight!), number of servings (perfect for when you want to make sure that you will have enough for everyone), and cook time (handy when you do not have much time to spare). And to make sure that you will never run out of ideas, recipes are added and updated on a regular basis. Oh, and if you are not satisfied with images and text, you can also view videos which will certainly spice up your cooking/learning experience.

The guys at Recipe Finder seem to know that it is not always about quantity as well. Not content with serving over a million recipes, they take things one step further with their tag line: “The smart way to find recipes”.

So just how smart is smart? Recipe Finder does all the work in the background so that you don’t have to. All that you need to do is search! Enter the recipe name or ingredients, and you will get relevant results. It really is as simple as that. On the other hand, if you want narrower results, you also have the freedom to tweak your search. Enter the details mentioned above – calorie count, number of servings, and cook time – and you will get recipes that suit your needs and preferences better.

Now if you are the kind of person who likes to plan and be organized, you will love the treats that Recipe Finder has for you. I know some people who plan their meals way in advance so that they can buy the appropriate ingredients during their weekly (or bi-weekly) supermarket trip. If you are one of these people, the Calendar and Menu features are perfect for you. In each recipe page, you simply have to click Add to Menu or Add to Calendar so that you can satisfy your urge to be organized.

Sometimes, you just don’t have an idea where to begin with your search for good food. That’s totally understandable, and I guess the guys at Recipe Finder have thought about that, too. From their Recipe Finder Blog, you can pick up a lot of recipe ideas, as well as cooking tips and trivia.

Don’t waste time trying to figure out what you’re going to cook. Allow Recipe Finder to make it easy for you!
