The Food Network is a wonderful slice of the American pie. This New York-based cable network airs many specials and recurring shows about delicious food, food preparation, at-home entertaining and restaurants. You know, all the good things in life.
The network is seen in 85 million households in the United States. Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Singapore, the Philipines, Monaco, Andorra, France and the French-speaking territories in the Caribbean & Polynesia also look on to see what’s cooking.
The Food Network was founded in 1993. Joe Langhan, now executive producer with the Wine Network, created the concept in 1991 while working at the Providence Journal. Now owned by The E. W. Scripps Company, the network has offices in Atlanta, Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit & Knoxville.
A number of the Food Network programs are hosted by celebrity chefs like Paula Deen, Wolfgang Puck, Rachel Ray, Jamie Oliver (hello, sexy!), Emeril Lagasse and Bobby Flay. With such a long list of well-known chefs, how could you not keep your eyes peeled to this cable channel? But let’s move on to the fun part- the Food Network’s Curry Chicken Appetizers. Yummmmm….

I love the food channel. I have learned so much from all of the wonderful chefs. I practice on my family all the time. Paula and Rachel are my favorite. Someone asked if I thought she liked African Americans? Paula is very sweet, but she is from the south. If she doesn’t like them,I don’t want to know. Love YA, Paula.
A couple of nights ago watching emeril he kept on wiping his hands on his nose,and then continues to cook that is really gross i had to turn him off.He does this alot it doesn’t look good on tv.

i love watching the food net work. i don’t think i can say anymore cause i just love the shows
my family and alot of our friends watched food network without fail. That is until the injustice we saw in the case of the Next Food Network Star. Rory should have gotten the show by default when JAG admitted he was a fraud not Amy who was voted off! Obviously Amy was not good enough or she would have won over Jag anyway. Then there is the cry baby attitude Amy displayed when she stated on national tv that she didn’t want the job. Because Rory was ripped off by the network and Amy’s false sense that everyone wants to cook food that no one has heard of because they eat that way in Paris…we and anyone else I can talk to are boy cotting the food network shows. That waswrong to bring Amy back when the Star was between JAG and Rory. Not only has their decision left a bad taste in my mouth but a lot of others as well.
i absolutely love the food network all of their shows. I always look foward to someone beating Mario in the iron chef compitition(sorry) just love the compitition keep it going Giada love you
