One of the easiest ways to start your own restaurant or bakery is to buy into a franchise. Most franchises will help you find a rental space, teach you how to get things going and keep things running, and be there for you when you have questions or issues.
Whether you want to bake cookies for a living or sling pizzas, there is a franchise out there for you. You just need to find it, and save up however much money they need for start-up costs. Many restaurateurs and bakery owners get their start as franchise owners.
Open A Bakery
Got the money and knowledge to do it all on your own, or can’t find a franchise that suits your preferred bakery niche? Open you own. A bakery won’t need as much space as a restaurant, which will save you money on your rental space and equipment, but start-up still won’t be cheap.
Maybe you want to open a gluten free bakery, which is not going to be easy. There aren’t any franchises, yet, that covered gluten free baked goods. And, as anyone that has ever done any gluten free baking, it’s hit and miss. But, it is definitely a needed asset in this day and age, and eating a gluten free donate at a place that make non-gluten free baked items can be a huge risk for cross-contamination.
