If you think you’ve seen all the cookbooks that can possibly be published in this world, take a while to read through this list as you might not yet have seen them in your favorite bookstore shelves. There are several interesting cookbook offerings seen in the Kickstarter platform. Take a quick look:
The Vegan Zombie Cookbook
The Vegan Zombie Cookbook is a graphic novel cookbook with killer (pun intended) recipes and illustrated adventures of the Vegan Zombie. With its original funding goal achieved, it has moved on to its second, third, and fourth funding goals for the cookbook expansion. The Vegan Zombie was an Internet sensation before the conception of the cookbook.
With a story line wherein a virus is carried through infected meat and dairy, the lone survivor acting as the host provides tips and tricks to stay safe from zombies while teaching the audience how to cook delicious vegan recipes. Special guests of course are the zombies. The project already has 1,273 backers and is 235% funded with total pledges amounting to $43,572.
Medium Rare and Back Again: A Tolkien Cookbook
With an original funding goal of $10,000, the project already has $ 19, 142 from 508 backers. The cookbook draws inspiration from Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, and Tolkien. Each recipe will have a commentary from the authors about its origin in the Tolkien world.
Not to worry though since all recipes are intended for real cooking and not only for the imagination as the title suggests. The creators hope to expand the originally-planned 30 page cookbook to 45 and then 60 pages. Incidentally, the creator is now considering actually going into food business.
The Mother’s Milk Cookbook
Creating considerable interest because of the nature of its main ingredient, The Mother’s Milk Cookbook was successfully funded just a couple of months ago through 105 backers. Total funding obtained is $ 7,837 from its original funding goal of $7,500. Since the idea of using mother’s milk as an ingredient is a novel idea, this is expected to be fun.
When Will the Kickstarter Products be Available to the Public?
Once commercially viable to be sold on a bigger scale, successfully funded and developed Kickstarter products are promoted in online stores such as ForeverGeek Kickstarter Store. This is a way for interested people to buy Kickstarter products directly from their creators. Not all product proposals will be successfully funded and not all successfully funded projects will be successfully manufactured and sold as planned.
